We’ve improved how Shipping Settings Automation sets delivery promises for seller-fulfilled orders, so you no longer need to set a shipping service priority.
If you consistently use the same shipping services, Shipping Settings Automation calculates transit times based on the following:
The closest warehouse to the buyer
Up-to-date carrier performance from the carriers that you’ve used before
Known network disruptions
Now, if a SKU does not have enough shipping history to identify a preferred shipping service, we’ll set transit times based on similar products that you’ve shipped to the customer’s destination region.
This upgrade reduces late deliveries by 8.6% on average and shortens delivery time by 1.8% on average, without requiring you to ship faster.
No action is required. This upgrade has been applied to your selling account.
